Dear Hopkins Community,

I am delighted to have the opportunity to once again thank you for your generosity and continued commitment to Hopkins School. I hope you enjoy this new way to experience the Annual Report on Philanthropy. Please take a moment to click through the stories designed to give you a window into the impact of your giving, and join me in celebrating the many parents, alumni, trustees, grandparents, faculty and staff who have supported the school over the past year. Of special note, this year we present the 1660 Associates, our rebranded Legacy Society, which celebrates the people who have made arrangements for Hopkins in their estate plan.

Although last spring can and will be remembered for its challenges, it was also characterized by strong community spirit. This was exemplified on May 5, 2020, Hopkins’ third annual Day of Giving, when more than 690 of us participated with a donation. We raised nearly half a million dollars in support of Hopkins that day for financial aid, faculty support, technology needs and all areas of the school.

In our 361st year, we remain energized and focused as a community, committed to learning and growing together as we move steadily forward in a new landscape. Thank you for the integral role that you play in providing us with the tools and the foundation that we need to succeed. I look forward to the opportunity to see you all in person again, and wish you and your family health and happiness until that time.
